The Harvest Cup!

Hey everyone – I am so sorry for the lag between posts, but I was super busy getting ready for The Harvest Cup!  My husband Jeremy co-founded this event, and there was a team of 5 of us (myself, Jeremy, Peter, Scott, and Ellen) busting our asses behind the scenes making sure it was a success – and it was!  So what is The Harvest Cup?  The Harvest Cup (THC) is a cannabis competition and vendor trade show that was held for the very first time at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 16 & 17, 2017.  One of my major responsibilities was planning a VIP Kick Off Party for the Friday night before the event – for up to 700 people.  I had never undertaken such a huge endeavor before, and I am so thankful to my daughter and my friends for helping me whenever I needed it.  Andrea came over and helped me turn donated items into gift baskets, as well as donating products for a cool cannabis-themed gift basket!  Jen came over and helped me laminate & cut photo booth props.  Lindsey helped me stuff 1500 gummy bears into baggies, two at a time.  LOL  And Cassidy did whatever I needed her to do whenever she could.  That’s my girl.  Steph, Kathryn, Nikk, Kerri-Lynn, Greere, Jenn C., Jenn L., Thais, Jenni, Tim, Darnelle, Rob, and Leia… thank you SO MUCH for your donations or help in securing donations for prizes for the VIP party!  I got an amazing new tattoo (and made a new friend) from Thais at Ideal Americana Tattoo… see:

And Thais donated 2 T-shirts and 2 gift certificates for 20% off the total price of a tattoo with her at the shop.  Let me tell you, the winners were psyched!  We ran a silent auction type raffle and I am super proud to say we ended up donating  the total proceeds of $1500.00 to the New England Veteran’s Alliance!  Here are some pics from the night:

I’ll be back soon with a post about the actual event.  We have already started planning for The Harvest Cup 2018, so stay tuned!  You can stay up-to-date by visiting our site at or by joining our Facebook group here.  Peace.
